BACKGROUND:Mamoon holds a BSc. Agriculture (Specialisation in entomology) from the University of Tanta (Egypt). For the last 10 years, he has been working in the Ministry of Agriculture (Oman). Since 1998, he is head of the Locust Control Unit.
